WisDems: Statement on third Wisconsin U.S. Senate debate
MADISON — Democratic Party of Wisconsin Chair Martha Laning issued the following statement on tonight’s Wisconsin U.S. Senate debate:
“Tonight, we saw yet another desperate and dishonest debate performance from Leah Vukmir, who once more struggled to answer for her record of selling out our state to enrich her insurance industry backers.
“Wisconsin’s U.S. Senate race is about who will put our state first, and in stark contrast to Leah Vukmir, Tammy Baldwin is the only candidate running who can be trusted to protect Wisconsinites with pre-existing conditions and take on powerful special interests and insurance companies.”
