Scott Suder Will Lead Statewide Trade Organization

The Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Paper Council is announcing a change in leadership for the organization. The Wisconsin Paper Council is the primary statewide trade association in support of Wisconsin’s pulp, paper and related industries. The Wisconsin Paper Council advocates for and represents members in public affairs and legislative/regulatory matters, serves as a center for the exchange of ideas, and disseminates news and information concerning the industry.

Mr. Jeff Landin, who has directed the organization for over 10 years, is transitioning out of his role and will be supporting the Council during this transition.

“We thank Jeff for his dedication, effort and the countless hours spent supporting the Wisconsin Paper Council,” said Board Chairman Craig Timm. “We welcome Scott back to our team and look forward to many successful activities in the future.”

Mr. Scott Suder has now assumed the role as President of the Wisconsin Paper Council. Scott Suder was formerly the Midwest Manager of State Government Relations for Enbridge Energy. Enbridge is the largest energy infrastructure company in North America. Suder managed state government relations teams for several Midwestern states including Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Wyoming and Montana. Most recently Suder spearheaded the government relations teams in Minnesota and Wisconsin who were instrumental in gaining Minnesota regulatory approval of the Line 3 Replacement Project, a $7 billion maintenance project which is Enbridge’s single largest pipeline project in the history of the company. Suder now returns to the Wisconsin Paper Council where he previously served as Vice President of Government Relations for the statewide trade association.

The Wisconsin Paper Council will continue to serve its members from its Madison office. There will be no other changes in the day-to-day functions of the organization.
