[Madison, Wis.] – Gov. Walker’s administration worked to secure the Foxconn investment to create jobs and encourage economic growth across the state, and last week he continued to highlight the statewide impact.

The governor’s efforts to connect Wisconsin companies with opportunities to do business with Foxconn has produced results with the announcement that $100 million in contracts were awarded to 27 Wisconsin subcontractors and suppliers across the state – involving workers from 60 of Wisconsin’s 72 counties. With more people working than ever before and record-low unemployment, Wisconsin is working under Gov. Walker’s leadership – now, the governor’s bold reforms are spurring additional economic growth to help hard-working families across the state win the 21st century.
