| Brookfield, Wis. — With Sen. Tammy Baldwin refusing to meet with Judge Kavanaugh and saying in July that she would oppose his nomination, U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir released the following statement Tuesday:
“Sen. Baldwin tells you she’s in your corner, but she refused to perform a basic function of her job and meet with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh,” Leah Vukmir said. “We can disagree with one another, but the Wisconsin way is to meet and listen to each other. As senator, I promise to meet with every Supreme Court nominee because it’s not possible to fight for Wisconsin values if you refuse to speak with the judges who interpret our laws.” |
