Brookfield, Wis. — The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is endorsing proven leader Leah Vukmir in her race for the U.S. Senate, the group announced Tuesday.

“Leah Vukmir has a record of cutting taxes and burdensome regulations, proving she knows how to get government out of the way so America can see more jobs, more growth and higher wages,” said Rob Engstrom, Senior Vice President, Political Affairs & Federation Relations for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “At the U.S. Chamber, we are proud to support Leah in her race for the Senate because she will do what it takes to enact a pro-jobs agenda that will help industry innovate and grow for generations to come.”

“Government doesn’t create jobs, but it can create a friendly environment for job growth and economic prosperity,” said U.S. Senate candidate Leah Vukmir. “In Wisconsin, I’ve worked hard to turn our state’s economy around, where we have now seen more than eight months of less than 3% unemployment. I’m honored that the U.S. Chamber is endorsing me for Senate because they know that, unlike Senator Baldwin, I will do what it takes to lower taxes and reduce regulations so business can continue growing.”
