Brookfield, Wis. — Instead of running on her own record to kick off the general election, Two-Faced Tammy Baldwin is smearing Leah Vukmir while the vast majority of special interests funding Baldwin’s own campaign are from out of state. Chief among them is the anti-Israel group J-Street, which supported Obama’s Iran nuclear deal.

“Two-Faced Tammy Baldwin can’t run on her own record, which explains why her first general election ad is negative and falsely tears down Wisconsin’s Leah Vukmir,” said campaign manager Jess Ward. “On campaign donations: the vast majority of Two-Faced Tammy’s funds come from out-of-state, while Leah is supported by Wisconsinites who know Leah will fight for them.

“Nothing has made Two-Faced Tammy’s failure to represent Wisconsin clearer than when she accepted nearly $150,000 from J-Street which, like Baldwin, supported Obama’s dangerous nuclear deal with Iran. When it comes to tougher sanctions against Iran and national security, Tammy has never been in Wisconsin’s corner.”
