WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee and member of the Commerce Committee, said this after President Donald Trump and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker announced an agreement to work toward eliminating existing tariffs:

“I appreciate the progress that has been made in trade negotiations with Europe. I encourage the administration to build on this success and restore stability to our economy by swiftly reaching agreements on other trade deals.”
