FOX POINT – Liz Sumner, candidate for Wisconsin’s 23rd Assembly District, today issued the following statement:

“I’m honored to have the support from the good men and women of IBEW-494. They are involved in some of the more impactful projects here in southeastern Wisconsin, such as the new Milwaukee Bucks sports complex,” noted Liz in regards to the endorsement. “I look forward to working with IBEW-494 on issues facing electrical workers in Madison and thank them for their support.”

“After eight years of failed, anti-worker policies it is time for a change. The current administration has passed legislation making Wisconsin a right-to-work state, removed the prevailing wage, and banned project labor agreements among a host of other anti-worker legislation. We need champions like Liz in the assembly to fight for workers and their families. Liz has the background, tenacity, and resolve to make an impact in Madison. We look forward to Liz winning the primary election on August 14th and the general election on November 6th,” said Dean A. Warsh, Business Manager of IBEW Local 494.
