JANESVILLE, WI — Wisconsin’s 1st District Congressman and House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) issued the following statement after Debbie Lesko was declared the winner in the Republican primary to represent Arizona’s 8th congressional district.
“Debbie ran a strong campaign that focused on the conservative values of Arizona’s 8th congressional district, and I congratulate her on her victory. Like the rest of the country, voters in Arizona recognize that our agenda is allowing working families to keep more of what they earn and creating new economic opportunities across the board.
