Brookfield, Wis. — State Sen. Leah Vukmir, R–Brookfield, Wednesday called on state Supreme Court candidate Rebecca Dallet, endorsed by Sen. Tammy Baldwin, to apologize to the family of former Border Patrol agent Brian Terry for campaigning with Obama-era Attorney General Eric Holder.
As attorney general, Eric Holder repeatedly misled Congress about the nature of the “Fast and Furious” gun-running scandal where the federal government allowed weapons owned by Mexican drug cartels to come into the United States.
“Rebecca Dallet wants to take away the Second Amendment rights of Wisconsin voters and has no problem campaigning with Eric Holder whose failed ‘Fast and Furious’ operation put guns in the hands of violent Mexican cartels and ultimately resulted in the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry,” Vukmir said. “Rebecca Dallet owes the family of Brian Terry an apology, and she should denounce Eric Holder for his role in this scandal.”
Leah Vukmir is a nurse, military mom and conservative with a proven record of reform who is running to bring the Wisconsin Way to Washington. She currently serves as a state senator from Brookfield.
