MADISON, Wis. – State Senator Tom Tiffany (R-Hazelhurst), chair of the Senate Committee on Sporting Heritage, Mining, and Forestry, released the following statement relating to the action taken by the Joint Committee for Review of Administrative Rules:
“I applaud the action by JCRAR to thoroughly review this rule. My office has heard from
concerned sportsman who believe this issue requires greater discussion. We owe it to deer
hunters to deliberate this rule thoroughly. This issue is too important to our state’s hunting
heritage to not take our time to consider all consequences of adopting this rule change.”
