MADISON, WI — Kelda Roys has secured the endorsement of Lynde Uihlein, a prominent Wisconsin philanthropist and founder of the Brico Fund.

Ms. Uihlein’s charitable giving focuses on improving Wisconsin’s civic, cultural, and natural environments, among other causes.

“I’m thrilled to have Lynde’s support,” said Roys. “Her investment in so many causes close to my heart, like conservation and civic engagement, has helped to advance Wisconsin’s progressive legacy and build a better future for us all.”

This endorsement is another strong signal that savvy political observers and major donors see Roys as the strongest candidate to win the governor’s race in November. Last week, Roys’ campaign disclosed that it had nearly twice as much cash on hand as other Democratic gubernatorial campaigns.

Roys has previously been endorsed by many national and state organizations and leaders, including EMILY’s List, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, NARAL Pro-Choice America, Women’s March WI, National Organization for Women – Wisconsin, Demand Universal Healthcare, Moms Demand Action Candidate Distinction, #VoteProChoice, Andy Gronik, Outagamie Co. Exec. Thomas Nelson, Rep. Lisa Subeck, Rep. JoCasta Zamarripa, Rep. Amanda Stuck, Rep. Nick Milroy, former Sen. Jess King, and hundreds of local elected officials and leaders.
