The Republican Governors Association is out with a new TV ad calling Dem guv contender Tony Evers “wrong for Wisconsin families.”

The 30-second TV spot opens with footage of Evers addressing the camera as a narrator asks, “Can we trust Tony Evers to be governor?”

The narrator hits the state superintendent over a Middleton teacher who kept his license after viewing pornography on a school computer, calling the state superintendent “so liberal.”

The spot goes on to knock Evers as being “so extreme” for previously expressing support for cutting the state’s prison population in half, a plan the narrator says “would put violent felons back into our neighborhoods.”

The narrator then charges that “Evers is ready to raise our income, property and gas taxes, threatening Wisconsin’s economy.”

“From schools to crime to jobs, Tony Evers is wrong for Wisconsin families,” the narrator concludes.
