WASHINGTON, D.C. – Republican attorneys general and GOP candidates are poised for success in 2018. Today, the Republican Attorneys General Association (RAGA) announced raising more than $16 million in 2017 – an off-year record.

The number – raised across all entities – is nearly $3.5 million more than what was raised in 2015. Republican attorneys general groups raised $12.6 million in 2015.

“RAGA’s mission is clear: elect Republicans to the office of attorney general,” said RAGA Chairman and Arkansas Attorney General Leslie Rutledge. “We are incredibly thankful for the support we received in 2017, but our work is not finished. In 2018, we plan to be even more aggressive in our unyielding commitment to electing rule of law-minded candidates all across America.”

“The strength of this organization is critical: RAGA gives our candidates a clear advantage over their opponents. This is not by accident; we have an excellent team and a strong, dedicated leader in our chairman, Attorney General Leslie Rutledge,” said RAGA Vice-Chairman and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. “We will have the resources to win in November, and voters will know who stands for freedom, opportunity and the rule of law.”
