EAU CLAIRE – Rep. Dana Wachs today endorsed Sarah Godlewski for state treasurer. Godlewski will “fight to protect Wisconsin taxpayers,” said Rep. Wachs.
“I am proud to endorse a fellow Eau Claire native to be our next state treasurer. Sarah Godlewski has united folks across Wisconsin to fight for accountability in how our tax dollars are spent, and there’s no doubt she will strengthen the Democratic ticket this November. Sarah has the vision and the experience we need in our next state treasurer.
“Our government has to work for people, not Walker’s rich special interest donors. Sarah will fight to protect regular folks and Wisconsin tax dollars,” said Rep. Wachs.

Sarah Godlewski is a fifth-generation Wisconsinite and social impact investor from Eau Claire. Godlewski will bring her financial expertise to the Office of the State Treasurer. She led the “Vote No” committee to ensure that the Treasurer’s Office would survive the referendum on April 3rd and now she will work to restore more power to the office.
