Madison…Today, Speaker Robin Vos (R-Rochester) welcomed Jon Plumer (R-Lodi) into the Wisconsin State Assembly as the new representative to the 42nd Assembly District. Speaker Vos administered the oath of office in a public ceremony in the Assembly chambers and released the following statement.
“Jon will be an outstanding legislator and a great addition to our Assembly Republican caucus. His election brings us back to our historic majority, holding 64 seats in the chamber.
“I’m excited for Jon to get started working on the issues important to his district and the entire state of Wisconsin. As a small business owner, Jon has been a trusted part of his community for many years. His focus and commitment to that community drives his passion for public service, which he can now put to good use in the Assembly.”
