Madison– State Representative John Nygren (R-Marinette), Co-chair of the Joint Committee on Finance released the following statement regarding new appointments to the Joint Committee on Finance:
“I would like to extend my congratulations to Representative Terry Katsma (R-Oostburg) and Representative Shannon Zimmerman (R-River Falls) for being appointed to the Joint Committee on Finance. Additionally, I would like to commend Speaker Vos for two excellent choices.”
“As we begin the next budget process, I have the utmost confidence in their ability to contribute to our already talented budget team. Together, they both possess unique capabilities and experiences which will prove valuable over the next year. Representative Zimmerman, a successful business owner, brings valuable private sector expertise while Representative Katsma has an over 30 year banking career which will be beneficial as we craft a balanced budget.”
