Green Bay… Earlier this week, the State of Wisconsin Building Commission approved the release of $5 million to assist in the construction of the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Center on the campus of the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay (UWGB). Representative Macco (R-Ledgeview) released the following statement:

“I am proud to have worked with Brown County Executive Streckenbach, UWGB Chancellor Miller and UW System President Cross to see that the STEM Center was placed on the UWGB campus and not somewhere else. Also, I authored the provision in the 2017-2019 state budget that allocated $5 million for this STEM Center. In conjunction with the new engineering school at UWGB, the joint Microsoft – Green Bay Packers’ Titletown Tech facility and the recently announced Foxconn Innovation Center, we are creating a strong foundation for economic growth in the Green Bay area for generations to come. I would also like to thank both Governor Walker and the State Building Commission for their support of this important project.”
