La Crosse – Today, U.S. Rep. Ron Kind co-sponsored the Veteran Entrepreneurship Training Act, a bipartisan bill that will support the Boots to Business (B2B) program within the Small Business Administration.

“We need to do everything we can to support our veterans and give them the innovative tools they need to create meaningful, good-paying jobs here in Wisconsin,” said Rep. Ron Kind. “The Boots to Business program provides our veterans the important opportunity to create or grow their own small business after they return home from honorably serving our country.”

Boots to Business and the Small Business Administration assists servicemembers, their families, and veterans open or run a small business by offering a two-day in-person entrepreneurship course followed by in-depth instruction through an eight-week online course. Since it began in 2013, more than 50,000 servicemembers and their spouses have participated in the program.
