MADISON – Assembly Democratic Leader Gordon Hintz (D-Oshkosh) was awarded as a Friend of Family Medicine by the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians for his work in promoting effective health care policy during the 2017-18 legislative session. Representative Hintz released the following statement on receiving this honor:

Through research and education, the Wisconsin Academy of Family Physicians has played a pivotal role in increasing access to quality medical care throughout the state.
