DE PERE, WI – Alex Renard’s campaign for State Senate announced today that it received the endorsements of seven conservative leaders in Northeast Wisconsin. Five current legislators and two former legislators voiced their support of Renard as the most qualified candidate for Wisconsin’s 1st State Senate District: Jim Steineke, Joel Kitchens, John Nygren, David Steffen, John Macco, Al Ott, and Dave Hutchison. Today’s endorsements add to an impressive list of conservative leaders expressing confidence in Renard’s leadership, business experience, and conservative ideals.

Collectively, current State Representatives Jim Steineke (R-Kaukauna), Joel Kitchens (R-Sturgeon Bay), John Nygren (R-Marinette), David Steffen (R-Howard), and John Macco (R-Bellevue), and former State Representatives Al Ott (R-Forest Junction) and Dave Hutchison (R-Dyckesville) released the following statement regarding their endorsements:

“We need someone in our State Senate who has real experience as a business leader and job creator in one of Northeast Wisconsin’s leading industries. Alex is a proven conservative leader with the knowledge and experience to get things done. His conservative principles, his fresh perspective, and his determination to take action make him an ideal candidate. We firmly believe that Alex is the most capable candidate in the race for Wisconsin’s 1st State Senate District and will deliver meaningful results for the people of Northeast Wisconsin.”

Alex Renard is the Operations Manager at Renco Machine Company in Green Bay where he manages the family-owned company started by his grandparents in 1963. Renard grew up in the Town of Scott before beginning his professional career as a business leader and job creator. He is an avid outdoorsman, currently serves as the chairman of the Neville Public Museum Foundation Board of Directors, and is a dedicated member of St. Francis Xavier Cathedral and the Knights of Columbus.
