Wisconsin Next, the super PAC backing Republican Leah Vukmir’s Senate bid, is up with its first TV ad of the general election attacking U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, saying her “government takeover of health care would be a disaster.”

The narrator in the spot says Baldwin, D-Madison, would eliminate private insurance, “kicking you off your healthcare plan,” and her proposal would cost $32 trillion.

The narrator says that would mean “higher taxes for you” and doubling the federal income tax wouldn’t be enough to pay for it. The narrator adds the plan would cost nearly $100,000 for every man, woman and child.

“When it comes to lowering health care costs, Tammy Baldwin’s not doing her job,” the narrator says to close the spot.

A Wisconsin Next filing with the FEC shows it spent $610,000 on the spot and another $11,082 on ad production.
