Brookfield – The Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund political action committee (PAC) has enthusiastically endorsed Judge Michael Screnock’s candidacy for Wisconsin Supreme Court. Judge Screnock currently serves on the Sauk County Circuit Court in Baraboo. He was appointed to the circuit court by Governor Walker in 2015 and the following year ran unopposed to retain his seat.

Judge Screnock supports an originalist reading of our federal and state constitutions that strictly adheres to their text and history,” said Matt Sande, Victory Fund PAC Director. As a judicial conservative he will interpret and apply the law as written, not according to his own policy or political preferences. Unlike his opponents in this race, he will not legislate from the bench,” said Sande.

Prior to obtaining his law degree from UW-Madison, Michael Screnock served in local government for twelve years, serving as the City of Reedsburg’s community development program director and finance director and then as the city administrator for Washburn and finance director for Ashland in the Chequamegon Bay region in northern Wisconsin.

Michael Screnock is a true public servant, who, in addition to his professional work, has been active in his local church and community,” said Sande. “His integrity, civic mindedness, and deep respect for the rule of law set him apart. We are proud to endorse him.”

The top two vote-getters in the Spring Primary Election on Tuesday, February 20, will move on to compete in the Spring General Election on Tuesday, April 3. The Victory Fund PAC is urging Wisconsinites to get out to the polls on these two important election dates and vote for Judge Screnock.
