Insights and Analysis of Leading Progressives to be Featured on NBC and Statewide Radio

MADISON, Wis. — One Wisconsin Now Executive Director Scot Ross and Program Director Analiese Eicher will be providing election night analysis with the NBC 15 Madison news team and on Wisconsin Public Radio respectively.

Ross will be appearing live as part of the election night news coverage on NBC 15 in Madison throughout the night, including spots on the 6pm and 10pm newscasts. Ross serves as the progressive pundit paired with Republican Bill McCoshen on NBC’s award-winning “Unspun” segment. Eicher will be featured as part of WPR’s coverage in the 9PM hour after the polls have closed.

“From the battles for Governor, U.S. Senate, Attorney General and control of the state legislature, at One Wisconsin Now we’ve been researching the candidates’ positions and talking about the issues at stake,” said Eicher.

Adding that One Wisconsin Now’s research and communications operation is full time on the ground in the state and not just popping up around election time, Ross said, “We know the players, we know the political and issue landscape and we know what wins and loses, for races in Wisconsin.”

Eicher is an award-winning Millennial who heads up One Wisconsin Now’s student loan debt crisis and voting rights programs. She previously, served as the government relations director and chief lobbyist for United Council of UW Students and is currently the vice-chair of the Emerge WI Board and the District 3 Dane County Board Supervisor, representing the east side of the City of Sun Prairie.

In addition to heading the state’s preeminent progressive research and communications shop, Ross has played critical roles in numerous statewide and state legislative campaigns and served as a top aide at the state Department of Justice.
