NextGen Wisconsin: To host “One Week Out” day of action to turn out young voters for historic midterm election
Organizers and volunteers will canvass campus and shuttle students to early vote locations

Madison, WI — On Tuesday, October 30, NextGen Wisconsin will host a “One Week Out” Day of Action to kick off its final get-out-the-vote push ahead of November 6. On campuses across the state, NextGen organizers will train volunteers, and then set out to canvass on campus and shuttle students to early vote sites to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day.

With an initial $2.5 million investment, NextGen Wisconsin is working to register, engage, and organize young voters across the state to defeat Scott Walker, re-elect Tammy Baldwin, and flip the First and Sixth Congressional Districts. With over 65 staff and fellows on the ground, NextGen is working to organize young voters in their communities and has pledged over 48,000 young Wisconsinites to vote this year and knocked over 84,000 doors.
