Milwaukee, WI — On Saturday, October 27, NextGen Wisconsin and Leaders Igniting Transformation will host a rally before going out to knock doors and mobilize young Black voters ahead of the November elections. At the rally, speakers will discuss the importance of the upcoming midterm election and the power that young Black voters hold in the deciding the outcome.
NextGen America is working nationwide to turn out young voters for the midterm elections. The “Rally For Our Ancestors” is part of NextGen America’s Black Lives Rising program, which is dedicating over $1 million to organizing and registering young Black voters to take back state houses in November. The effort will mobilize young black voters across six states with competitive races — North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Florida, Michigan and Wisconsin.
