Janesville, WI – Cathy Myers, a 24-year high school teacher, two-term Janesville School Board member, and single mother of two, announced today that her campaign has raised $182,656 in the final fundraising quarter of 2017 with $106,625 cash on hand.

Since making her campaign official on July 1, 2017, Myers has received over 10,000 grassroots contributions from more than 7,000 donors totaling over $300,000.

With an average donation of $29, Cathy Myers has built one of the strongest grassroots campaigns in the country, and is creating real momentum in Wisconsin’s First District. Myers’ efforts have earned her the most endorsements from local elected officials in her Democratic Primary against Randy Bryce. Twenty-two elected officials who represent voters in Wisconsin’s First District have endorsed her campaign.

Although she has received minimal national media attention compared to her primary opponent, Myers’ campaign has garnered tremendous support on social media. She has earned 94,000 Facebook followers by regularly posting live videos to engage voters on the issues, which are archived here.
