Beau Liegeois calls on Mike Gallagher to return corporate PAC money

Green Bay — Earlier today, Beau Liegeois called on Mike Gallagher to give back the Corporate PAC money he has received this election cycle.

In Mike Gallagher’s first-term, he has received over $300,000 from Corporate PACs. Mike Gallagher says one thing in his T.V. commercials, and then goes to Washington and votes in favor with his special interest donors. Actions speak louder than words, and we need leaders in Congress who will represent the values of Northeast Wisconsin – NOT the billionaires.

Beau Liegeois, said, “I am sick and tired of watching “bought and paid for” politicians in Congress try to score cheap political points with our healthcare. As a father, with a young daughter at home, I understand that affordable healthcare is a necessity, not a political game. That’s why I will fight against special interest groups’ efforts that undermine our healthcare system and raise insurance costs for hard- working families.

And this is why I will not be accepting any corporate PAC money during my campaign, nor will I ever accept Corporate PAC money once I am in Congress.”

Beau Liegeois is a lifelong native of the Green Bay area. He is a graduate of Green Bay Southwest High School, the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Valparaiso University Law School.  He currently serves as an Assistant District Attorney in Brown County where he focuses on prosecuting drug crimes.  He served 8 years in the Wisconsin Army National Guard as a Judge Advocate Captain. Beau is the proud husband of Katie, from New Franken, and father of Evelyn Rey.  They currently reside in Allouez.
