Updated Lugar Center – McCourt School Bipartisan Index Underscores Grothman’s Partisanship, Inability to Work with Other Side

Grafton – Glenn Grothman has once again been identified as one of the most partisan members in the House of Representatives by the Lugar Center- McCourt School Bipartisan Index. Ranking #410 out of 438 members, Grothman’s ranking makes him the most partisan member of Congress from Wisconsin.

Being in the top 10% for partisanship is an improvement from Grothman’s ranking in 2017 as the most partisan member of Congress. Today’s ranking came after desperate efforts by Grothman to build his bipartisan credibility that began shortly after Dan Kohl announced his candidacy highlighting Grothman’s inability to work together on behalf of the people of Wisconsin.

“I got into this race because Glenn Grothman is out of step with the way we do things in Wisconsin.” said non-profit leader and business executive Dan Kohl. “Here in Wisconsin, we have a tradition of cooperation and coming together to solve problems. If I am elected, I pledge that I will work across the aisle every day in pursuit of real solutions for Wisconsin families.”
