Janesville/Beloit – Beloit City Council Member, Clinton Anderson has announced his endorsement of Sheriff’s Candidate, Troy Knudson. He stated, “I am endorsing Troy Knudson for Sheriff because he will take the Sheriff’s Office in a new direction. Troy takes a collaborative approach to problem solving, which is desperately needed. After many conversations with Troy, I can confidently say I have never met someone more genuine or passionate. Please join me in supporting Troy Knudson for Rock County Sheriff on November 6th.” Council Member Anderson has served the city of Beloit for two years and serves on the Alcohol Beverage License Control Committee, the Landmarks Commission and the Municipal Library Board.

Additionally, several Rock County Board Supervisors have joined Council Member Anderson in publicly endorsing Troy Knudson for Sheriff as well. These endorsements include:
Robert Potter – District 6 Supervisor, who serves on the Board of Health and General Services committees.

Hank Brill – District 7 Supervisor, who serves as the Chair of the General Service committee, County Board Staff, Traffic Safety Commission, Hall of Honor and Rock Valley Community Programs.

Norvain Pleasant Jr. – District 13 Supervisor, who serves as the Chair of Health Services, Education, Veterans & Aging Services, Local Emergency Planning Committee, Council on Aging, Transportation Coordinating Council, Community Action and High Nitrates Work Group.

Terry Fell – District 14 Supervisor, who serves on the Human Services Board, Public Safety and Justice, Emergency Medical Services, Criminal Justice Coordinating Council, and Evidence Based Decision Making Committees.

Yuri Rashkin – District 15 Supervisor, who serves on the General Services Committee.

Betty Jo Bussie – District 17 Supervisor, who serves as the Chair of the Public Works Committee as well as on the County Board Staff Committee.

Wes Davis – District 20 Supervisor, who serves on the Agriculture, Land Conservation, Planning & Development committees and the Arrowhead Library System Board.

Terry Thomas – District 21 Supervisor, who serves as the Chair of the Rail Transit Committee, Chair of the ADRC, County Board Staff, Human Services, Marsh Country Health Alliance, Mississippi Valley Health Services, Woodland Enhanced Health Services committees.
