Kaul Opposes Schimel’s Reckless Attack on the Affordable Care Act

MADISON — Josh Kaul, former federal prosecutor and candidate for Attorney General, reacted to recent developments in the lawsuit in which Brad Schimel is seeking to invalidate the Affordable Care Act.

“Brad Schimel’s effort to allow health-insurance companies to deny coverage to Wisconsinites with pre-existing conditions is wrong,” said Kaul. Over 2.4 million Wisconsinites have pre-existing conditions.

“We should be working to expand access to affordable care,” Kaul said. “Instead, Brad Schimel is fighting to take it away from people.”

Josh Kaul served as a federal prosecutor in Baltimore, one of America’s most violent cities. There, Kaul prosecuted murderers, gang members, and drug traffickers, taking dangerous criminals off the street and making communities more secure. He grew up in Oshkosh and Fond du Lac in a family of law enforcement professionals and teachers. He is running for Attorney General in 2018.
