Milwaukee, Wis. – July 26, 2018 – The Board of Directors of the Independent BusinessAssociation of Wisconsin (IBAW) endorsed Sheriff Richard Schmidt for Milwaukee County Sheriff today.
“The Board of Directors unanimously voted to support Sheriff Richard Schmidt for Milwaukee County Sheriff. Sheriff Schmidt is the obvious choice for this position based on his experience and years of knowledge of the department and the Milwaukee County Jail system. Additionally, his non- political, law and order approach to that office is precisely what Milwaukee County needs,” said Steve Kohlmann, IBAW’s Executive Director.
