MANITOWOC – Governor Scott Walker addressed employees from Energy Bank today following a tour of their Manitowoc-based manufacturing facility. Energy Bank is a lighting systems manufacturer focused on the development of high-performance, American-made LED lighting products.

“The success of Wisconsin’s small businesses is a big reason why our state economy is booming, and the unemployment rate is at its lowest point in state history,” said Governor Walker. “Not only are employers, like Energy Bank, choosing to hire and expand right here in Wisconsin, they are developing and manufacturing innovative products that are truly Wisconsin-made.”

Energy Bank recently released their FUSION technology, which allows LED lighting to operate directly from energy collected from solar panels. The company was founded in Manitowoc in 2012 and is an award-winning LED-lighting manufacturer. Energy Bank has grown from eight employees in 2014 to 18 full-time and 4 part-time employees as of 2017.
