MADISON – Governor Scott Walker released the following statement today congratulating Milwaukee attorney Michael Brennan after the United States Senate confirmed his appointment to serve on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Judge Mike Brennan is going to be an outstanding judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals. His dedication to public service, fair application of the law, and the structural framework of the Constitution will serve him well on the Seventh Circuit. I also applaud the leadership of President Trump for nominating Judge Brennan, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley for their commitment to confirming well-qualified judicial nominees who understand the proper role of a judge. This is a great day for the Seventh Circuit and the people it serves.
