MADISON – Governor Scott Walker appointed Laurie Boren today as the Register of Deeds for Florence County. Ms. Boren is currently the Deputy Register of Deeds of Florence County and is filling the vacancy created by Pattie Gehlhoff.
“Laurie Boren’s nearly two decades of dedicated service are a testament to her ability to diligently and effectively serve as Florence County’s Register of Deeds,” said Governor Walker. “Her extensive background as a county official and recent experience as the Deputy Register of Deeds, make her an excellent fit to continue providing important services to residents and families across Florence County.”
Ms. Boren has been with the Florence County Register of Deeds office for 18 years in addition to her time as the Florence County Title and Abstract Records Manager from 2000 to 2014.
Ms. Boren received a Bachelor of Science in Forest Administration from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point.
