Madison, WI – Today, a dozen Democratic legislators from across Wisconsin announced their support of Sarah Godlewski’s campaign for State Treasurer.
The list includes: State Senator Chris Larson, State Senator Patty Schachtner, Representative Jill Billings, Representative Jonathan Brostoff, Representative Eric Genrich, Representative Evan Goyke, Representative Greta Neubauer, Representative Tod Ohnstad, Representative Amanda Stuck, Representative Lisa Subeck, and Representative Chris Taylor.
“The State Treasurer’s Office has been neglected for decades and I have been impressed by Sarah’s bold, progressive vision to rebuild and strengthen the office into the fiscal watchdog it was meant to be. Sarah has the expertise to bring fresh ideas and new leadership which is why I am endorsing Sarah for State Treasurer and will vote for her August 14th,” said State Senator Chris Larson (D – Milwaukee).
“Sarah Godlewski is from my neck of the woods so I know that she understands how the Treasurer’s office can work for ALL Wisconsinites. Whether it’s urban, rural, or all of us in between, I am confident that Sarah will fight for us. I’m happy to endorse her to be our next State Treasurer,” said State Senator Patty Schachtner (D – Somerset).
“Sarah knows the importance of investing in the people of Wisconsin. I know that as Treasurer, she will work within our communities to develop programs that can benefit ALL Wisconsinites. Sarah has the experience and the dedication we need so I’m happy to announce that I’ve endorsed her for State Treasurer,” said Representative David Crowley (D – Milwaukee).
“I am endorsing Sarah because of her bold vision for the office. I’m excited to see a woman with the energy and expertise to make that vision a reality. I am happy to announce that I am endorsing Sarah Godlewski to be our State Treasurer,” said Representative Amanda Stuck (D – Appleton).
