Wausau WI- On Wednesday, June 26th at 11am Mary Hoeft will endorse Brian Ewert’s run for Congress at the Marathon Democratic Headquarters (W 54403, 833 S 3rd Ave, Wausau, WI 54401). This event is open to the public and the press. Her full statement will be released after the event.
Mary Hoeft is a Professor Emeritus in the UW system. She taught communication arts and French at the University of Wisconsin Barron County prior to her run for Congress in 2016. Mary was a Fulbright-Hays Scholar to Morocco, Wisconsin Idea Fellow, and a Wisconsin Teaching Scholar. She was also the recipient of the Chancellor’s Career Award for teaching excellence. She served on the Rice Lake School Board for two terms and was the president of the board of directors of Barron County Restorative Justice Programs. She presently serves as a restorative justice facilitator.
