MADISON–Today, the Tony Evers for Wisconsin campaign announced that it has raised more than $2.5 million in the first month of the general election campaign.

“Wisconsinites are enthusiastic, engaged, and ready to vote for a change in November,” said campaign manager Maggie Gau. “While Scott Walker and Republican special interest groups are running desperate and disgusting smear campaigns, Tony has been focused on the issues that matter most to our families and building grassroots support for his positive vision for Wisconsin.  That’s translating into momentum in our fundraising and on the ground as we continue to push toward victory on Election Day.”

Since the beginning of the general election, the Evers campaigns has received more than 16,000 donations. Approximately 80% of Evers’ fundraising total is from Wisconsin donors.
