WAUSAU, WI – Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy’s campaign today announced the endorsement of 16 sheriffs from throughout central, western, and northern Wisconsin. The law enforcement community has come out in full support of Sean’s campaign. The sheriffs, noted below, released the following statement in support of Congressman Duffy’s re-election bid.
“The law enforcement community stands with Congressman Sean Duffy because we know that Sean backs the badge,” said the sheriffs. “As a former northern Wisconsin prosecutor, Sean understands the issues that we face every day, including the influx of drugs and crime resulting from our open southern border. Sean is also committed to working with law enforcement to combat the opioid epidemic and to ensure that we have the resources we need to get the job done. We’re proud to endorse Sean Duffy and thank him for his vocal support of Wisconsin law enforcement.”
