Luke Hilgemann and Sean Lansing will serve as senior advisors to campaign
(Madison, Wis.) – The Champion Group announced Wednesday that its principals, Luke Hilgemann and Sean Lansing, have joined Wisconsin State Senator Leah Vukmir’s U.S. Senate Campaign as senior advisors.
“We’re glad to have Luke and Sean join Leah’s campaign to take the Wisconsin Way to Washington,” said Jess Ward, Vukmir’s campaign manager. “From day one, Leah’s been committed to having a team that understands Wisconsin politics and what we’ve been able to accomplish with Leah and Governor Walker. Luke and Sean will be beneficial additions.”
“Senator Vukmir is a rare combination in politics,” Lansing said. “She is a tried-and-true conservative with a long track record of success that proves she’s serious about changing the status quo and bringing Wisconsin’s record of conservative reforms to our nation’s capital.”
“I have worked with Leah for a number of years, and she has never wavered in her commitment to the people of Wisconsin or her conservative principles,” Hilgemann said. “Her leadership and integrity are exactly what Washington needs to deliver on even more conservative policy priorities in 2019 and beyond.”
Hilgemann and Lansing will assist the campaign in senior advisory roles, assisting primarily in grassroots outreach and messaging.
Combined, Hilgemann and Lansing have 25 years of campaign, legislative and political non-profit experience in Wisconsin, Louisiana and Washington, DC. Through their work in local, state and federal campaigns, state legislative and gubernatorial offices, and at Americans for Prosperity and Americans for Prosperity Foundation as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Luke and Sean have established a proven model for success in the electoral and issues-based campaign space.
