RACINE, WI – Today, Vice President Joe Biden endorsed Randy Bryce for Congress, citing Randy’s commitment to fighting for working families.

“Randy Bryce is a working person who knows what it means to fight for working people, and that’s why I’m endorsing him in his bid to serve the people of Southeast Wisconsin in Congress,” said Vice President Joe Biden. “An Ironworker from Caledonia, Wisconsin, Randy Bryce will bring a working class message to Washington, D.C. that will cut through the partisan gridlock and help get our country back on track. Randy Bryce knows what it’s like to get knocked down and have to fight tirelessly to get back on his feet. He knows what it’s like to face a tough economy and have to address the harsh realities of working two part-time jobs just to make ends meet. He knows what it feels like to not have health care and have to fight cancer with pure grit and determination. Randy Bryce is prepared to serve working families because he comes from one. He’s exactly what we need to turn our country around and I’m proud to stand with him in his bid for Wisconsin’s First Congressional District.”

“I am honored and humbled to be endorsed by Vice President Joe Biden,” said Randy Bryce. “While Vice President Biden is known for many achievements when it comes to health care, infrastructure, national security, and advancing the rights of women, immigrants, and the LGBTQ community, his most lasting legacy may be his work on economic fairness. Like me, and like so many Americans, Joe comes from a working-class family in a working-class neighborhood. He believes in the possibility of kids from Scranton, Pennsylvania and Caledonia, Wisconsin, and has devoted his career as a public servant to creating opportunity so that everyone has a chance to live the American Dream. His understanding of the challenges that everyday Americans face, along with his ability to work across the aisle with congressional Republicans, was key to rescuing the American auto industry and saving our economy. Joe has defeated Paul Ryan and his big corporate donors once already. We look forward to having his help doing it again for the working people of southeast Wisconsin.”
