St. Cloud – Conservative candidate for the 59th Assembly District, Ty Bodden, was the only candidate to fill out the NRA survey and receive an AQ rating, the best rating a candidate can receive if he or she never held office. Ty has been an NRA member for nearly a decade, starting back in his early high school years. He is a lifelong avid outdoorsman who has always celebrated his 2nd Amendment rights and will do anything to protect those rights.
Ty Bodden issued the following statement regarding the NRA rating, “I have been hunting and shooting guns since as early as I can remember. I started sitting with my dad in the deer stand when I was in 1st grade and haven’t missed an opening day since. Wisconsin has an amazing history when it comes to hunting and fishing. We cherish our long family traditions and we need to hold onto these traditions as long as possible. I will always protect our 2nd Amendment rights and the traditions we Wisconsinites hold dear to us. We need younger generations to get involved in the outdoors and I will make that one of my priorities in office. If elected, I would be the youngest member of the legislature. I believe that is important because we need my generation and younger generations to keep Wisconsin’s traditions alive for years to come.”
