U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin again outraised opponent Leah Vukmir, pulling in $1.6 million to the Brookfield Republican’s $808,558 over the most recent reporting period.

Baldwin, D-Madison, also spent nearly $4.2 million between Oct. 1-17 and had almost $2.5 million in the bank at the end of the pre-general period.

Vukmir, meanwhile, spent more than $1.1 million and had $1.1 million cash on hand to close out the period.

The reports, filed with the Federal Elections Commission yesterday, will be the last ahead of the Nov. 6 midterms.

They show Baldwin now has receipts of $31.1 million since the day after her 2012 election and net expenditures of $28.1 million.

Vukmir, has $5.2 million in receipts since she got into the race in September 2017 and $4.1 million in net expenditures.
