MADISON – On Wednesday, October 10th at 10:00 AM, State Senator Jon Erpenbach, State Representative Lisa Subeck and Wisconsinites will gather outside the Capitol to highlight Tammy Baldwin’s leadership in forcing a U.S. Senate vote to overturn the expansion of junk insurance plans.
With junk plans, insurance companies can deny coverage to people with pre-existing conditions and don’t have to provide essential health services like prescription drugs, emergency room visits and maternity care.
The U.S. Senate vote on overturning the expansion of junk insurance plans is expected to take place on Wednesday.
Leah Vukmir opposes Tammy’s legislation and supports allowing insurance companies to deny coverage for pre-existing conditions though these junk plans.
