Obama urges support for Dems, saying they’ll ‘protect your care’

MILWAUKEE — President Barack Obama touted his signature health care law as he urged support for Democrats up and down the ticket, saying they will “protect your care.” He also railed against Gov. He specifically called out an ad earlier this month where Walker guaranteed those protections would exist “as long as I’m governor.” “That’s what your governor is doing in these ads, just making stuff up,” Obama said. “What he’s saying is not true.” Obama, speaking

Contact: Timothy Svoboda, (920) 375-1217 or [email protected] (Fond du Lac, WI) – As Dan Kohl continues to spread lies about Congressman Glenn Grothman, he spent Friday in Milwaukee campaigning outside of the 6th district with “Lie of the Year” recipient, former President Barack Obama. Kohl supported a state takeover of health care in 2008 that turned out to be the blueprint for Obamacare, which has resulted in increased premiums and less patient choice for Wisconsinites. “While Congressman Glenn Grothman was meeting with voters in Wisconsin’s 6th district, Dan Kohl was putting on a show for Milwaukee Democrats- singing songs belittling

One Wisconsin Now: Column — Brad Schimel Fails Women and Victims

by Louise Lyall Brad Schimel has proved time and time again that his first and most important priority is supporting the conservative agenda at the expense of women and of rape survivors. As a rape survivor and as a woman, I find Brad Schimel’s approach offensive and ineffective. Schimel has been failing victims from the start of his career as an Assistant District Attorney in Waukesha County through his present position as the state’s alleged “top cop.” While prosecuting rapists, Brad Schimel repeatedly defended the rights of the male offender rather than the young female victim. Schimel didn’t seek jail time
