Gov. Scott Walker outraised Tony Evers during the August fundraising period, pulling in $2.3 million, compared to $1.9 million for his Dem rival. Walker also spent $3 million between July 31 and Aug. 31, finishing last month with nearly $4.2 million in the bank, according to a copy of the guv’s cover sheet the campaign shared with WisPolitics.com. Evers, meanwhile, spent $436,985 in the reporting period and finished the month with $1.6 million in the bank, according to his filing.
