New Greater Wisconsin TV ad hits Screnock over arrests at abortion clinic

The Greater Wisconsin Committee is running a new TV ad in the Madison market that knocks Supreme Court candidate Michael Screnock for his arrests nearly 30 years ago for blocking access to an abortion clinic during protests. In the Greater Wisconsin ad, the narrator opens the spot saying judges should be fair and impartial, but Screnock was twice convicted of “illegally blocking women from accessing reproductive health care.” The narrator adds he was twice arrested for resisting a police officer. Greater Wisconsin TV ad pushes back on WMC spot, hits Screnock on sentences

The Greater Wisconsin Political Fund has a new TV ad that hits back at a WMC spot attacking Supreme Court candidate Rebecca Dallet and takes a shot at her rival, Michael Screnock. The narrator opens the spot saying “corporate special interests are at it again, running negative ads trying to buy a Supreme Court seat for Michael Screnock.” The background includes clips from a WMC Issues Mobilization Council ad hitting Dallet over the sentence she gave a man for sexually assaulting his granddaughters.
