Milwaukee Judge Rebecca Dallet’s first TV ad of the Supreme Court races opens with footage of President Trump and a pledge that she’ll protect our rights and values. She’s the first of the three candidates to go up on TV. The spot shows footage of Trump at a rally yelling, “Get the hell out of here.” The narrator says over the footage, “He’s attacked our civil rights and our values. Mitchell adds two staffers to guv bid, including campaign manager

Dem Mahlon Mitchell has added two staffers to his guv bid, including campaign manager Craig Brown. Brown, who most recently worked in New Hampshire, started Jan. 1, and will oversee day-to-day operations, said campaign spokeswoman Lis Smith. Robert Dempsey, who was Bernie Sanders’ state director during the 2016 Dem presidential primary, remains with the campaign in a consulting role, Smith said. Along with Brown, the campaign has added Taylor Bollhagen as outreach director. The 2015 UW-Madiosn grad previously worked as deputy logistics director on Russ Feingold’s 2016 Senate campaign.
