As Governor Walker Helps Bring Foxconn to Wisconsin, Democrats Play Politics
[Madison, WI]—Thanks to the bold leadership of Governor Scott Walker and Republican legislators, Foxconn Technology Group and its investment are set to transform Wisconsin’s economy, creating tens of thousands good-paying, family-supporting jobs. Democrats in Wisconsin were once in favor of action to create these very types of jobs, before they decided to start playing politics with Foxconn.
In their words vs. their actions, check out where Democrats stand on family-supporting jobs – the kind that Foxconn is promising to bring:
Dana Wachs, Democratic Candidate for Governor
Words – “We must focus on creating jobs for others, not ourselves.”
Actions – State Rep. Wachs voted last week to oppose the Foxconn legislation.

Andy Gronik, Democratic Candidate for Governor

Words – “10,000 good-paying, family-sustaining jobs for Wisconsin is a great thing for our state – period. This should not be a partisan issue.”
Actions – Andy Gronik flip flopped and is now opposed to the Foxconn legislation.

State Senator Chris Larson

Words – “Each member of the Senate Democratic Caucus has a unique perspective to bring to the table as we work to create family-sustaining jobs, increase economic development, and grow local businesses.”
Actions – State Sen. Larson voted last week to oppose the Foxconn legislation.

State Representative Katrina Shankland
Words – “Wisconsin needs bipartisan action on a long-term jobs bill that will start creating jobs now…”
Actions – State Rep. Shankland voted last week to oppose the Foxconn legislation.
