Madison, Wisconsin — Not all Christmas villains are as obvious as the Grinch, Ebenezer Scrooge, or the Central Park Rangers. After opposing last week’s U.S. Senate bill that would lower taxes for hard-working Wisconsin families, Senator Baldwin has shown she’s out to ruin Christmas. The Republican Party of Wisconsin is excited to kick off Tammy Baldwin’s 12 Days of Tax Hikes on social media today, highlighting Baldwin’s record of voting in favor of higher taxes and fees while she picks Washington over Wisconsin.
“Senator Baldwin’s prolific record of supporting higher taxes and fees should be incredibly concerning for Wisconsinites – especially during the holiday season,” said Alec Zimmerman, spokesman for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. “Instead of helping Wisconsin families fill their stockings and keep more of their own money, Senator Baldwin is earning a big lump of coal by siding with Washington over Wisconsin yet again.”
